AS HEALING POWER CAME UPON ME DURING THE FAST I BEGAN GETTING WARM WITH NEW ENERGY!

Faith Power Came To My Prayer Life
Psalm 35:13: "But as for me, when they were
sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom".

It was easier to pray after fasting.
At the time of my consecration fast I was thirty?two years of age and the mother of four beautiful children. I was a typical mother.
When my baby was two months old, I had to have a heart specialist and take treatments. I was under the care of five physicians, Dr. Tal . . ., Dr. San..., Dr. McCar . . ., and Dr. Ou . . ., and I was given shots, dope, medicines and I don't know what all. My medicine cabinet was jammed full of all kinds of pills. I had tried almost everything in the natural, but I steadily grew worse.
After hundreds of dollars were spent, all hope was given up about my condition of stomach, heart disorder, and nervousness. I was on the verge of despair and was on the way to town to see my doctors when I noticed an advertisement in front of "The Broadway Revival Auditorium," downtown in San Diego. It said: "JESUS NEVER FAILS." "Continuous Revival Daily, 2:30 and 7:30 P.M."
The following Sunday, just after the doctors again told me there was nothing more they could do, I attended the Big Revival Auditorium where Bro. Franklin Hall was in charge. Rev. F. L. Doyle and Little lone Syers, girl evangelist, of Los Angeles, were conducting a revival. (I did not know then that my sister and others were praying for me at this very time.) I became convicted and that night went forward and Jesus Christ washed my sins away. A few nights later, God gloriously Baptized me with the Holy Spirit.
That is, I spoke in Tongues as the Spirit gave Utterance. I did not as yet receive the Healing Fire Portion of the Holy Spirit. The rest of the Baptism that I had not received was the Healing Fire, to "come upon" one's body.
The Lord saved me and baptized me in part, but I was not healed. I continued attending the Revival Auditorium. The Little David Evangelistic Party came to San Diego for a City Wide Revival Campaign, in the same building.
Brother Franklin Hall would give enlightened instructions and interesting information on FASTING every afternoon and in the evenings. Scores were fasting longer than I ever thought it possible to fast, and God was Blessing, Saving, and Healing them. The strange thing that I noticed about those who were fasting many weeks without food was that they were actually getting stronger physically day by day, instead of weaker. They also were having wonderful glorious Spiritual results with God and were getting their unanswered prayers heeded.
Brother Franklin Hall was encouraging the Saints that wanted the very best from God, to fast.
Finally, it seemed as though the whole church was Fasting. Many were fasting weeks at a time. A Sister Sommerville fasted for 83 days. The Power of God was so mighty that folk would get Healed sitting in their seats. Often, the Incense Smoke would fill the building with Odors from Jesus' Body. Sister Hall and Sister Page testified that they could both Taste and Smell the Lord's Glory Body.
Before Fasting 42 days

Sister Myrtle Page, with Sister Helen Hall and some other Saints would have all night prayer meetings. Other folks, like myself, were drawn to the meetings right off the street below our hall, which was in downtown San Diego.
One evening, the Glory Fire and the Smoke from the Glory Cloud were so strong, all about the place, the fire department came running up the stairs with fire hoses to put the fire out. They informed us that a crowd of people, including themselves, saw the Smoke and the "Fire." They told us they came to put it out. However, when they found it to be God's Fire, one fireman remained a while to enjoy the service.
They were startled when they saw the Smoke of God, but no natural fire. Some paused to breathe inwardly the great New Heaven Air from the Lord's "Now Body."
Brother Hall had written his first book during these first meetings in 1946. This was the beginning of the world?wide

Fasting Prayer Crusades that began after this, in 1947, after many (now famous) Ministers entered into major Consecration Fasts.
Brother Hall had the Revelations and Teachings concerning these great Restoration Truths, but he had never written a book about them, up to this time.
One day in the 90 day teaching crusade, the people demanded that Brother Hall write a book on these subjects. They told him: "You must put the teachings in a book and give us a guide to follow". Brother Hall prayerfully wrote a manuscript.
He brought the manuscript to the large afternoon audience and asked them what to name it. The atomic bomb had dropped a few months before in Japan. The Saints, who were Fasting, suggested that it be called "Atomic Power with God thru Fasting and Prayer." A vote was taken and this was the birth of Brother Franklin Hall's first book.
Bro. Del Hall joined his brother to carry the work on.
In That Year More Than 1000 Were Converted

So many folk were fasting that a fasting chain was going on all the time. The Revival Center continued on with Meetings twice each and every day for more than a year.
The Fastings Prayers and all night Prayer Meetings brought so much Anointing that many new folk were drawn to the downtown revival auditorium. Like myself, they were drawn right off the streets from below.
More than one thousand folk came to the Lord in that one year.

FASTING
Since both the doctors and their remedies failed to cure me, and I was drawn by the Holy Spirit upstairs where Brother and Sister Franklin Hall and Sister Page were, I obtained Bro. Franklin Hall's book, "Atomic Power With God Thru Fasting and Prayer." I started the Consecration Fast, I ate nothing, neither liquid nor solid food for 42 days. I drank only pure water to keep my body clean.
The Lord not only Healed my body, but He revolutionized my body by Restoring it completely to health.
By the end of the 3rd day of fasting, I began having tingling sensations. A soothing, relaxing Healing Heat came upon me. I could rest so much better.
4th Day: Real hunger and headaches left me in four or five days, and "habit hunger" left a few days later.
11th Day: Weakness left on the eleventh day of the fast.
I became stronger in body than I was when eating. Believe me when I tell you that I actually got stronger day by day, and felt better than I had for years. I did all my housework and cooked three meals a day for my family of four children and husband.
12th Day: I had an appointment with the dentist for cleaning the tartar and nicotine off my teeth. (I smoked before I was converted). But when I looked in the mirror and saw that my teeth were becoming whiter and whiter as the fast continued, I cancelled my appointment. After the fast my teeth were perfectly clean from nicotine and tartar.
13th to 35th Days: I did all the family work and washed the clothes for the six of us on a washboard (my washer was temporarily broken) and attended church every night. All this time I was praying earnestly to God for a greater Spiritual experience.
36th Day: I was strong enough to travel from San Diego to Los Angeles, where I again attended the Franklin Hall Little David meetings, and I testified from the platform, before two thousand amazed people, how the Lord was Blessing me. In those days, long fastings by church folk were hardly heard of. Sister Sommerville, who went without food for 83 days and others testified. Many of the Saints were spellbound.
36th to 42nd Days: I spent the last six days of the fast in Little David's and Franklin Hall's dwelling.
42nd Day: Real hunger returned after forty?two days and I proceeded to break the fast.
BREAKING THE FAST
In breaking the fast, I followed Brother Hall's course of instructions on Faith, very carefully.
(Editor's Note: Menu for breaking fast in Bro. Franklin Hall's book: "BECAUSE OF YOUR UNBELIEF: Ist Day: Three meals, each, of half a glass of diluted orange juice (half water), spaced 41 /2 hours apart. 2nd Day: Same as first but less diluted. 3rd Day: Four light meals of citrus fruit, pulp and all. 4th Day: Four meals of fresh fruit. 5th Day: Fruit or light green salad)
6th Day: I ate very lightly of fresh vegetables. One meal was thin soup.
I was careful for many days yet in breaking into regular eating again. This is important because once I got into trouble by eating too much too soon.
I received Jesus in my heart.
I received the Holy Ghost speaking in other Tongues Portion of the Baptism. This was precious.

Now, after fasting, I received the other Tongues, "Wings " of Healing upon my body, the Acts 2:3, Mal. 4:2 Portion of the Holy Spirit.
Thirty days after I broke the fast, I had a complete physical checkup by two of my physicians. They said there was not one thing wrong with me. My physical healing was complete. Of course they were amazed and surprised.
It is now sixty days since I broke the fast, and I am so thankful to God for the wonderful results, and such great healings.

I . Shortly after the fast, I was under the power of God's Spirit for three whole days.
2. I am so much closer to God spiritually.
3. I have received deep Spiritual Revelations of God's Word. I understand the Bible better.
4. My eyes are healed, I can see perfectly now. No more eye glasses are necessary.
5. Tartar and nicotine on my teeth are all gone now, my teeth are white.
6. My nervous condition is gone.
7. My heart disorder is cured. There is no need of doctors and medicines.
8. I don't have that "old feeling", but feel like a young girl again.
9. My weak stomach condition is entirely taken away.
10. A miserable little corn that bothered me for years, just dropped off on about the 42nd day. Apparently it just got starved out, as these dead "corn cells" must have been utilized into food?fuel for its own destruction. I've heard of other people losing cancers and tumors, on long fasts.
11. I noticed a new smell to my feet. The old body odors, and sickness smell, actually lifted off of myself and disappeared.
12. Tiredness left me. I had a new, great feeling of new strength and power of the Wings of Healing upon my body. It seemed, with the Holy Ghost Fire, as though I received ten times more of the Holy Spirit than what I had received at first.

All sickness power was destroyed upon my body. I had greater victories spiritually. I could love folk better and had more long?suffering. The Bible became a new book.
This 42?day fast was the greatest experience of my life. I heartily recommend it to everyone. I urge everyone to get Brother Hall's book, "Atomic Power with God" and try a major fast or at least a 10?day fast. It will revolutionize
your life, spiritually and physically, and you will find that it is the quickest way to get rid of all your sickness and unbelief, at least it did this for me. Praise the Lord.
